Virtual Private Servers
A Virtual Private Server (VPS), also known as VDS (Virtual Dedicated Server) or Virtual Machine, has many of the benefits of a dedicated server with less of the drawbacks and restrictions of shared hosting. Virtual servers are created on a physical server so that each has its own allocation of RAM, disk space and Bandwidth. They therefore behave very much like regular servers. VPSs are ideal if you've outgrown the limits of simple shared hosting, need further server-side customisations for your websites or apps and want more power without making the jump to a dedicated server.
